Washington University Department of Chemistry
Directions

The Chemistry Department buildings are all located in the north-central part of the Danforth (formerly Hilltop) Campus.

Once you are in the area, the easiest way to get to the Department by car is to enter campus via Throop Drive, off of Forest Park Parkway. Park immediately in the Millbrook lot. Enter McMillen Laboratories (just east of the parking lot). The main office is located on the fifth floor.

You may also take Metrolink to either the University City/Big Bend or Skinker stations; these are on the northwest and northeast corners of campus, and a 5 min. walk from the Department.

Maps of the Danforth campus are:

Grayscale building map; Chemistry buildings are #54 (Louderman), #60 (McMillen), #6 (Laboratory Sciences) #78 (Radiochemistry) and #24 (Cyclotron/Mass Spectrometry). Note that Louderman and McMillen are connected so that entry may be made from either one.

A color parking map, updated for recent (2006) construction changes. The most convenient parking lot for the Chemistry buildings is the Throop lot. Note that thile classes are in session the Throop lot tends to fill by around 10:00 AM
and then slowly empty during the afternoon; the lots at the east end of campus (accessible from Skinker Blvd.) are a good alternative choice.
