Using the Centifuge

1.) Cut two inches off of the stem of the pipet.

2.) Place the pipet, bulb end down in one of the testtube holders of a centrifuge. Make sure the centrifuge is balanced.

3.) Close and lock the lid.

4.) Flip the power switch to "on", centrifuge for a minute, then turn the switch to the 'off' position.

5.) Unlock the lid and remove the pipet.

6.) Examine if mixture has separated into solid and liquid as shown. Repeat if necessary.
