This movie shows the inflation of dual airbags when a head-on collision occurs. The sudden deceleration of the crash triggers a sensor in the floor of the car (or at the very front of the car, or in a combination of these locations) that initiates the deployment of the airbag. The sensor triggers the ignition of NaN3 and within 40 milliseconds after the initial impact, the airbags are fully inflated with N2 gas.
