Funding

Funding for our research includes:
  • Grant CHE-0718861 from the National Science Foundation to study First-principles Monte Carlo simulations of fluid phase equilibria at extreme conditions, awarded 2007.
  • Grant CHE-0628008 from the National Science Foundation for Collaborative Research: Cyberinfrastructure for Phase-Space Mapping - Free Energies, Phase Equilibria and Transition Paths, in collaboration with D. Kofke (PI), S.C. Glotzer, P.T. Cummings and D. Chandler, awarded 2006.
  • A Type AC award from the ACS Petroleum Research Fund to study Three-dimensional reconstruction of mesoporous materials from gas adsorption and structure factor data, awarded 2006.
  • A DURIP grant from the Army Research Office for the Acquision of a computer system for first-principles simulations of molecular solids
  • A CRIF grant from the NSF for Purchase of a Resource for Computational Chemistry, with J. Ackerman (PI), 2004.
We have also had support for several projects from the Washington University Center for Materials Innovation.
