Please make sure that your submission form is filled out completely. Call the resource if you are not sure about analysis type and/or ionization method. Taking the time to fill out the submission form will expedite your sample analysis and will help the analyst make the right decisions about how to analyze your sample.

In general, if your sample is sensitive to heat (e.g., decomposes while obtaining a melting point) electron impact ionization (EI) is not possible. Fast atom bombardment (FAB) or matrix assisted laser desorption ionization (MALDI) will be required.
